MONTEREY-SALINAS TRANSIT (MST) SERVICE CHANGES GO INTO EFFECT BEGINNING SATURDAY, MARCH 18TH
Service changes for local bus transportation provided by Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will go into effect on Saturday, March 18th. The following MST lines will be changed or modified:
- JAZZ A (Aquarium / Sand City via Hilby): Minor schedule adjustment to weekday schedules leaving Sand City Station.
- JAZZ B (Aquarium / Sand City via Broadway): Minor schedule adjustment to weekday schedules leaving Sand City Station.
- Line 8 (CHOMP via MPC): Minor schedule adjustments.
- Line 23 (Salinas – King City): Routing change leaving Salinas Transit Center. No inbound routing changes. No schedule changes.
- Line 23X (Salinas – King City Express): Routing change leaving Salinas Transit Center. No inbound routing changes. No schedule changes.
- Line 28 (Watsonville via Castroville): Major schedule changes. Early morning trip from Watsonville and Castroville will resume.
- Line 29 (Watsonville via Prunedale): Major schedule changes.
- Line 41 (Alisal – Northridge): Schedule modification on early morning inbound trips. Timepoint at Alisal and Towt relocated to Alisal and Sanborn.
- Line 42 (Alisal – Short Turn): Schedule modification on early morning inbound trips. Timepoint at Alisal and Towt relocated to Alisal and Sanborn.
- Line 43 (South Main via SVMH): Minor schedule change.
- Line 44 (Westridge): Minor schedule change.
- Line 45 (Creekbridge): Routing change. Departs Salinas Transit Center via Lincoln to Market. Note gate change at Salinas Transit Center to Gate 1.
- Line 48 (Northridge via North Main): Minor schedule adjustments.
- Line 49 (Santa Rita via North Main): Timepoint relocated from Firestone Station to Big 5 Sporting Goods.
These service modifications do not include changes already in operation, seasonal service variations, or corrections.
