MONTEREY-SALINAS TRANSIT CELEBRATES SENIOR TRANSIT DAY (WEDNESDAY, MAY 11TH) WITH FREE FARES ON ALL SENIOR SHUTTLE LINES
To recognize Older Americans Month and celebrate Senior Transit Day, Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will offer free fares on all Senior Shuttle Lines (91, 92, 93, 94, 95) and MST RIDES services within a ¾ mile distance from the area serviced by these lines on Wednesday, May 11th.
MST staff will also be available at select community locations along the Senior Shuttle bus lines to promote MST services and mobility programs and answer any questions.
These services are funded by Measure Q, a 1/8-cent transportation sales tax approved by voters in 2014 to benefit seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities.
