HARTNELL COLLEGE STUDENTS NOW RIDE FREE WITH STUDENT ID
MST is pleased to announce the expanded Free Fare Zone partnership with Hartnell College offering students the ability to ride free on ALL MST routes simply by presenting their valid student ID card to the driver. Beginning Monday, August 12, 2019, Hartnell College students will be able to ride all MST buses for free, any day, any time.
“Supporting students, education, and the environment together with Hartnell College is a win for the entire community”, stated MST General Manager/CEO, Carl Sedoryk. Taking advantage of the free bus service is not only a money saver; it’s convenient. Riding the bus has never been easier!
Providing his thoughts, Dr. Willard Lewallen, Superintendent/President of the Hartnell Community College District shared, “We are extremely grateful to the MST Board and administration for their leadership and vision in supporting Hartnell students. This tremendous benefit will not only allow our students to ride MST buses at no cost to and from our campuses, but also to travel to work and explore all that Monterey County has to offer.”
MST serves the Hartnell College Main Campus, the Alisal campus, and the Hartnell College south county campus in King City. MST travels as far south as Paso Robles and Big Sur, and as far north as San Jose, and even offers service to Santa Cruz.
