Commuter Service for Active Duty Military & DOD Civilians Only

The Department of Defense has implemented a Mass Transportation Benefit Program under Executive Order 13150 for its members. The purpose of this program is to offset commuting costs to active duty military members and DOD civilian employees, including non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees, to reduce pollution and traffic congestion, preserve the environment, and expand transportation alternatives.

The cost for commuter service for active duty military members and DOD civilian employees, including non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees is $265 for a monthly pass. No other transit pass is needed for military members to access a military base by public transportation.

Commuter service both to and within military facilities has been planned especially for military and DOD civilian personnel to ensure participants receive a one seat ride from home to work and back around their work schedule.

Who Qualifies?
