Due to construction surrounding the Monterey Transit Plaza, Monterey-Salinas Transit will be temporarily relocating all gates at the plaza beginning Saturday, March 21, 2009 for approximately six to eight weeks.
There will be three temporary gates located in downtown Monterey. Temporary Gate A will be located on W. Franklin Street between Alvarado and Tyler Streets and will serve lines 1x, 2x, 7, 22, 24, DART and Amtrak. Temporary Gate B will be located on Tyler Street between W. Franklin Street and Bonifacio Place and will serve lines 5, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 21, 55 and 56. Temporary Gate C will be located on Tyler Street between Del Monte Avenue and W. Franklin Street and will serve lines 1, 2 and 20. Temporary Gate D will be located on Calle Principal between W. Franklin and Jefferson Streets and will serve the Monterey Airbus.
