In coordination with The Holiday Parade of Lights in Salinas, Monterey Salinas Transit (MST) will offer free supplemental bus service every 10 minutes on Line 43 Memorial Hospital Thursday, November 30, 2008 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.

The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. on Salinas St. (between Central Ave. and W. Alisal St.), continues down South Main St. to Main St, curves in front of the Steinbeck Center and south down Salinas St. before ending at W. Alisal St.

Passengers can conveniently deboard near either end of the parade route at Romie Ln. and South Main St. or at the Salinas Transit Center. Due to parade street closures on South Main and Main St., the route will detour on Riker St. between Romie Ln. and Alisal St. This supplemental service is designed to make visits to the parade easier and more enjoyable, as well as to reduce traffic congestion.
