Service changes for local bus transportation provided by Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will go into effect Saturday, May 29, 2010. The following service will be changed or modified:
Discontinuation of Cash Fare Discount: MST shall discontinue the 25-cent (15-cent discount) temporary fare reduction on all cash fares. MST’s regular cash fares shall again apply to all MST fixed route and On Call trips ($2.50 regular, $1.25 discount), and MST RIDES paratransit services ($3.00). The temporary fare reduction was funded by a portion of federal stimulus funds received by MST through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This was offered to passengers as a temporary benefit until funding was exhausted.
Line 22 Big Sur: Daily summer service through Labor Day.
MST Trolley Carmel-by-the-Sea: 30 minute service resumes through Labor Day.
MST Trolley Monterey: 10-12 minute service resumes through Labor Day.
MST Trolley Salinas: Service suspended until after Labor Day.
