Service changes for local bus transportation provided by Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will go into effect Saturday, August 30, 2008. The following service will be changed or modified:
Line 2X: Increased service and schedule changes throughout the day. Now arrives and departs Marina Transit Exchange at gate 6. Now serves The Dunes Shopping Center.
Line 5: Minor schedule changes. One evening trip eliminated on Sundays. One additional weekday trip to Carmel.
Line 7: Slight afternoon schedule changes.
Line 10: Minor schedule changes. Express trips eliminated.
Line 11: Slight morning schedule changes. One evening trip eliminated on Sundays.
Line 12: New! Serving the Naval Postgraduate School, La Mesa, Fitch Park and The Dunes Shopping Center.
Line 20: Minor schedule changes.
Line 22: Returns to Winter schedule following Labor Day.
Line 23: Slight route changes arriving and departing the Salinas Transit Center.
Line 23X: Now serving SVMH park /ride and HSBC on limited trips.
Line 27: Now serving Marina Library.
Line 41: Slight route changes arriving at Salinas Transit Center. Time point eliminated at Del Monte and Sanborn.
Line 42: Slight route change arriving at Salinas Transit Center. Time point eliminated at Del Monte and Sanborn. Slight route change going into Westridge.
Line 48: Moved time point from Del Monte and Sanborn to Mesquite and Tumbleweed.
Line 55: Slight schedule adjustments to first morning trip to San Jose.
Line 56: Additional service throughout the day and a new late night trip.
MST On Call: Zone extended on Durham from Malmedy to 6th in Marina.
MST Trolley Salinas: New! Free Trolley serving Hartnell College, Amtrak Station, Oldtown Salinas, City Hall and Steinbeck Center.
MST Trolley Monterey: No service following Labor Day.
MST Bus Stop Shop: Monthly passes and ticket books are now available at our new customer service office located in downtown Monterey at 150 Del Monte Avenue next to the Monterey Parking Garage. Courtesy card applications will also be processed at this location.
Monterey-Salinas Transit Administration Office: MST’s Administration office at One Ryan Ranch Road will no longer provide customer service to the public. For convenience, customers can purchase passes and ticket books at the new MST Bus Stop Shop at 150 Del Monte Avenue in downtown Monterey.
Wi-Fi: Now available at Edgewater Transit Exchange and Marina Transit Exchange.
