Seven hundred transit professionals are making their way to Monterey this week for the annual California Transit Association (CTA), California Association for Consolidated Transportation (CalACT) Joint Conference and EXPO hosted by Monterey-Salinas Transit. Training sessions will highlight new innovations in operations, maintenance, rural/community transportation, marketing, fiscal/planning/policy and leadership management to transportation providers from agencies large and small, rural and urban.

The EXPO will be held Wednesday afternoon where buses will fill the Custom House Plaza and exhibitors will be on hand showing off the latest in public transportation goods and services.
